It’s Pride month, and PAX is thrilled to be supporting local LGBTQ+ organizations across the US in celebration of this incredible community. PAX is committed to establishing cannabis as a force for good, which means supporting and uplifting the individuals and communities who’ve paved the way for the cannabis industry. This is especially true for the LGBTQ+ community, who has fought tirelessly to advocate for the healing benefits of cannabis. Check out some of the state-wide initiatives going for the month of Pride and beyond to see how you can support the organizations doing the work.

California

PAX x LEUNE: We’ve teamed up with Brand Partner Leune to create a limited-edition Hot Honey PAX Era pod. Up to $30,000 of net proceeds from pods purchased by consumers during the month of June will be donated to Equality CA, the nation’s largest statewide LGBTQ+ organization fighting for civil rights, social justice and inclusion through championing pro-equality leaders and legislation. The Hot Honey pod will be available through Eaze and Nugg Club while supplies last. In addition to proceeds being donated, PAX has also donated an additional $10,000 to support Equality CA on their advocacy efforts.

PAX x Jetty Extracts: A fan favorite, we’re bringing back Jetty Extracts limited-edition Reckless Rainbow pod, also in support of Equality CA. This pod will be available in California for the month of June.

Oregon

In support of Pride, PAX is partnering with Brand Partner Oregrown for a month-long activation. Throughout June, all pods sold at any of their three Oregon locations (Bend, Portland, & Cannon Beach), PAX and Oregrown will each match $.50 ($1/pod total) to be donated to Out Central Oregon and Q Center, two local organizations focused on a myriad of efforts from advocacy to community engagement to foster a safe space for the LGBTQ+ community in Oregon.

Washington

Seattle PAX fans—we’ll be hosting a live drag show with LuChi on June 25th at The Reef in Capitol Hill. If you’re over the age of 21+ and would like to attend, feel free to join us from 4-6pm PST to celebrate with some of the best drag queens in the state! For every pod sold at The Reef from June 20-27 (the week leading up to the event), PAX will donate $1 to the Lavender Rights Project, a non-profit focused on legal advocacy and education for the LGBTQ+ community.

Colorado

We’re collaborating with Colorado Brand Partner, The Lab, and their four storefronts, The Clinic, to run a variety of Pride initiatives throughout June, including free gift with purchase the last two weeks of June, 20-30% discounts on select pods, and for every pod sold for the week of June 21st-June 30th, PAX will donate ($1/pod) to The Center on Colfax, a network focused on improving opportunities for the LGBTQ+ community, including health and wellness, economic empowerment, and equal rights in the workplace.

Massachusetts

Every August, Provincetown, Cape Cod, hosts Carnival in celebration of the LBGTQ+ community. This year the celebration is back, and we couldn’t be more excited to support this initiative with our Brand Partner SIRA Naturals’ limited-edition Pride pods—raising up to $120,000 for The Provincetown Business Guild, The Transgender Emergency Fund and Trans Resistance. This pod will be sold in the state of Massachusetts, and will include a "ticket" inside the packaging with a QR code to our Carmel and Queer Disco Party at the end of Carnival week—come join us!
